PsihoHelpline in partnership with Directia Judeteana pentru Sport si Tineret Valcea of the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sport is organizing  the Summer school „Introduction to research writing, methods and statistics for psychological, behavioral and medical sciences” for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students from Romanian Universities from Sibiu, Cluj and Bucuresti, as well as other students from other universities, or other professionals who may want to apply. Various relevant topics will be presented live on-line by international professors and research skills will be practically exercised (basic to advanced), with the goal that by the end of the week each participant, individually or in collaboration, will have an article draft, possibly publishable in a scientific journal, reflecting his/her knowledge and effort, individually or in collaboration under the supervision of the organizing team. Each day will be dedicated to a special topic. The whole program is constructed logically, following the empirical investigation steps.

The lectures will last 1 hour and 30 minutes / lecture and 30-45 min / Q & A. The most important points pertaining to quantitative research will be covered, drawing on lecturers’ and organizers’ experienced research, education and teaching time activity. Quality broadcasting will be provided based of modern IT infrastructure. Lectures will be recorded and given to the participants for future reference. Copyright will be assigned to the lecturer. After each lecture a debating session will follow and later, practical research work under the supervision of the research team will be conducted.

Psych. Petru Madalin Constantinescu M.A. has graduated from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and University of Bucharest. Since 2002 he has taken various supplementary courses on research and statistics, has been awarded various scientific scholarships and awards and has participated in many scientific conferences and scientific events in Romania, Italy, Germany, Austria, Kosovo and Turkey.

Mr. Constantinescu has had a long standing international top research and publishing experience with his own initiated projects. as well as in the position of the Research Director of Consciousness Quotient Institute. He is a member of International Council of Psychologists and was also a reviewer to Psychological Thought. He also has had many research collaborations and taught research courses at the University of Bucharest. He is still involved in research in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy and provides research and statistics consultation to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students from Romania and other European countries, continuing successfully his education at the University of Hagen, Germany and Würzburg University, Germany.
